Review requests

Questions, answered straight

If something here is a "not yet", that is because it is not built yet. I would rather tell you that than find out later you bought it for the thing I do not do. Anything not covered: blake@omnipresent.app.

Getting started

Who is this for?

Home service businesses. Plumbers, HVAC, electrical, roofing, landscaping, cleaning, pest control, and the rest of the trades that finish a job and then have one good moment to ask for a review. If you do repeat work for the same customers, it works for that too.

Do you integrate with my CRM?

Zapier and a plain webhook today, Jobber and Housecall Pro next. If your software can fire a Zap or post JSON when a job is marked complete, you are covered now. If it cannot, you can upload a CSV or add a customer by hand in the portal, which is what most people start with anyway.

Is an onboarding call required?

No. Setup is a form and one Google connection, and you can do both alone. A call with me is available if you want one, and it is included at every plan.

How long does setup take?

Your account is created automatically right after you check out, and the welcome email with your login arrives on its own. What is left for you is a short intake form, connecting your Google Business Profile so the review link points at the right listing, and getting your customers in. The Google connection has to be done by you, because only the owner of a listing can authorize it.

How long until reviews start coming in?

That depends on when your customers start flowing in, not on me. Once a customer is added, the email request goes out the same day inside your send window, between 8 AM and 8 PM in your time zone. Text requests start once carriers verify your business's texting number. What happens after that is up to your customers, and I am not going to put a number on it.

Billing

When do you bill me?

You start on a 10-day free trial. I take a card at signup and charge nothing at the time. Your card is charged when the 10-day trial ends unless you cancel from the Billing page first. After that it renews on that date, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you picked. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on that first paid month.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month. You cancel from the billing screen yourself, and it takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.

How do the plans differ?

Only by how many review requests you can send per month. $99, $179, and $279 a month. Every feature is in every plan, and there are no add-ons. Pick the size that matches your job volume and move up or down whenever it changes. Paying annually costs $1,008, $1,800, or $2,796 for the year, less than twelve monthly payments.

Are prices in US dollars?

Yes. All prices are USD.

Do you have multi-location pricing?

Not yet. Today an account covers one business with one Google listing, so a second location means a second account. Multi-location under one login is on the list, not built. Email me if you run several and I will tell you where it stands.

How the asking works

Can you keep bad reviews off Google?

No, and I would not try. I never gate. Every customer you add gets the same request, and the link takes them straight to Google to write whatever they think. Filtering the request so only happy customers get asked is against Google's policy, and any tool that sells it is putting your listing at risk.

What actually moves your rating is volume. Ask everyone, consistently, and the honest average of your work is what shows up.

How often do you message my customers?

Typically 1 to 3 messages per job: the first request, then up to two follow-ups a few days apart. Follow-ups stop the moment someone clicks the link or replies. Nothing sends outside your send window, 8 AM to 8 PM at the widest, in their local time, and anyone who replies STOP is suppressed for good. You can change the number of follow-ups, the timing, and the wording in your settings.

What about customers I serve over and over?

You decide which completed jobs trigger a request, so a recurring customer only gets asked when you want them asked. Someone who already left you a review, or who opted out, stays suppressed regardless.

What if someone already left me a review?

Mark them as reviewed or do not contact in your contacts list and they stop getting requests. I do not yet read your Google reviews to detect this for you automatically, so an imported list of past customers is worth a quick pass before you turn sending on.

What is a personalized image request?

Instead of a plain text, the message arrives as a picture: a photo you upload, with the customer's first name across it and "Powered by Omnipresent" on the corner. If a carrier will not deliver the image, the same message goes out as a plain text instead so nothing is lost.

Can I ask for a review by email too?

Yes. If you give me an email address as well as a number, the email goes out alongside the text. Emails are plain text on purpose, with no images in them.

How does reactivation work?

Upload a CSV of your past customers, confirm that they did business with you and that you may contact them, and they enter the same request sequence. For most businesses this is the biggest single batch of reviews they will ever get, because years of finished work all get asked at once. Take the consent attestation seriously: it is the part of this that carries legal weight.

Scope and limits

How many reviews should I expect?

I will not give you a number. It depends on how many jobs you finish, how good the work is, and whether your customers are the type to respond. Anyone quoting you a percentage on a cold call is quoting someone else's customers.

Do you offer review widgets for my website?

Not yet. Displaying your reviews on your own site is on the list, not built. If you need it now, tell me and I will build it into your site directly, which is separate work from this product.

Do you post my reviews to social media?

Not yet. It is on the list, not built.

Do you support Yelp, Facebook, or other platforms?

Today the request link points at your Google review page, because that is the listing that shows up in local search and in maps. Other platforms are not supported yet.

Which countries do you work in?

The United States. The text messaging is registered with US carriers, so that is where I can send.

Is this HIPAA compliant?

No. I am not a HIPAA business associate and I do not sign BAAs, so do not use this for anything involving protected health information. If you are a medical or dental practice, this product is not for you.
